Similarly, manuscripts which report optimization studies on well-established processes are inappropriate. EMT does not accept papers dealing with mathematical modeling unless they report significant, new experimental data.

Epidemics publishes papers on infectious disease dynamics in the broadest sense. Its scope covers both within-host dynamics of infectious agents and dynamics at the population level, particularly the interaction between the two. Areas of emphasis include: spread, transmission, persistence, implications and population dynamics of infectious diseases; population and public health as well as policy aspects of control and prevention; dynamics at the individual level; interaction with the environment, ecology and evolution of infectious diseases, as well as population genetics of infectious agents.The journal will only publish papers that use high quality novel or published data in their analysis. Successful manuscripts are typically multidisciplinary and integrative. Epilepsy Research provides for publication of high quality articles in both experimental and clinical epilepsy research, with a special emphasis on translational research that ultimately relates to epilepsy as a human condition. The journal is intended to provide a forum for reporting the best and most rigorous epilepsy research from all disciplines ranging from biophysics and molecular biology to epidemiological and psychosocial research. As such the journal will publish original papers relevant to epilepsy from any scientific discipline and also studies of a multidisciplinary nature. Clinical and experimental research papers adopting fresh conceptual approaches to the study of epilepsy and its treatment are encouraged. Established in 1969, European Economic Review is one of the oldest general-interest economics journals for all of Europe. The European Control Association (EUCA) has among its objectives to promote the development of the discipline. Apart from the European Control Conferences, the European Journal of Control is the Association's main channel for the dissemination of important contributions in the field.The aim of the Journal is to publish high quality papers on the theory and practice of control and systems engineering.The scope of the Journal will be wide and cover all aspects of the discipline including methodologies, techniques and applications.Research in control and systems engineering is necessary to develop new concepts and tools which enhance our understanding and improve our ability to design and implement high performance control systems. Whatever format the discussion takes, it will be concluded by the author(s).
