Accounting in Europe occupies a position between the pure research journal and the practitioner journal. It publishes descriptive, practice- and policy-oriented papers on current issues in all areas of accounting. It provides a meeting place for accounting scholars and professionals, who form its target readership as well as author potential.The journal consists of two main sections: Issues in European Accounting contains articles actively solicited by the editorial team, while the second section contains unsolicited papers, which have been subject to peer review. Each Account can be thought of as a “seminar in print,” as the authors tell the research story of their lab and give readers insight into both the science itself as well as the people behind it.

Accounts are only considered for publication by invitation, but prospective authors are encouraged to submit a Proposal which, if accepted, will result in an invitation to submit a full Account. The journal considers submissions in core fields such as, but not limited to:

Accounts of Materials Research publishes concise personal reviews and perspectives describing recent research developments in all aspects of materials science and engineering.

An Account uses results previously published by the authors to teach readers new insights and thinking in an area of materials research. Each Account is directed not only to specialists in the field, but also to a broad range of scientists who wish to keep abreast of the best current research in fields other than their own. Readability by the non-expert is therefore essential.

In addition, Accounts of Materials Research publishes front matter pieces addressing the broader societal impacts of materials research and development.

Most manuscripts are submitted after invitation by the Editor-in-Chief, but unsolicited proposals, which may result in an invitation to submit a manuscript, are also considered.

Acoustical Physics (Akusticheskii zhurnal), founded in 1955, is the only Russian academic journal in the field of acoustics. The journal publishes scientific reviews, original papers, short communications, letters to the editor, and current events. It covers theoretical and experimental aspects of basic and applied acoustics. This journal presents results of research conducted at the institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and at universities and research establishments in Russia and abroad.
